This product complies with the EU Directive 2016/425 in accordance with the standard AS/NZS 4399. The UPF rating only applies to the area that is covered. The greater the area that is covered by the garment, the better the sun protection.
Please note that UV protection may decrease due to the following:
• If the fabric sits tight on the body, e.g. if it is stretched out over the shoulders.
• If the fabric is stretched.
• If the fabric is wet.
• Normal wear and tear, or if the fabric is exposed to water treatment chemicals for a long period of time.
